I read the blogs
on aggression,
possession,
tact
but the doctor & the
dog don’t respect me.
Speak in a firm voice,
vary your word choice,
exhibit quiet poise.
High vocal tones,
you’ll need to avoid
and
you’ll need to omit
exclamation points.
Approach with a calm
intention,
collection &
lastly: bite back.
Tact is the art of making a point without making an enemy. – Sir Isaac Newton
There is a lot of truth to your poem. Dogs are easier to deal with than doctors…most of the time.
